Membership application USGEB member benefits are: Free registration for the USGEB annual meeting, fellowship travel awards for student members, employment assistance and  public policy activities. In addition you become part of the Swiss Scientific Community united to promote excellence in research and education in the molecular life sciences.  Certain USGEB member societies  offer different membership types: Regular, Student (undergraduate through PhD student), or Corporate/Company. Applications are accepted at any time during the year, and may be submitted on-line, by mail, or by fax. New regular members must be sponsored by two regular members of the USGEB society of the applicant’s choice. Student members must be working toward completion of an academic degree (bachelor, master PhD). Their application must be endorsed by two staff/faculty members (mentors) from the candidate's institution who are regular members of an USGEB society and who attest to the applicant's student status.
